I had to try to make a Tardis! I don;t think Minecraft has the right shades of blue, but I went with it anyways. If you need diamond... here you go!
and a cupcake of course! Yumm!
Some older Pixel Art from July 2015
I built my daughter the Batarang house by using Batman pixel art for the floor and simply building an enclosure around it. The floor is made out of Obsidian and Gold bricks, and to keep it clear I made the living area on a second floor with a large open area to view the art.
I made my youngest son a Charmander pixel art house. The art took up a lot of room on the ground so the building ended up being huge. I also made the pixel art the flooring and made the second level open to view it.
This building was built as the boring standard block shape, but the style is on the inside.
This ground floor has actual clay and wool blocks as the flooring. It is hard to make a good creeper face without a good choice of greens.
The second level I decided to use the wool carpet squares and I like it a lot better. Carpet squares cannot have any items placed on them, so chose your floor plan wisely.
I used Hello Kitty pixel art to make this HK flooring. I then built a structure around it and added some stained glass. It is an open air concept building with a enclosed building on the top serving as another house or storefront.
I made this Mario Mushroom pixel art into a complete building. I chose not to keep with the red, white, and black theme colors, and chose my own bricks for the rest of the house. I made 2 pixel art mushrooms identically mirrored and then used Obsidian and Cobblestone to enclose it for a building. I made a huge tree trunk at the bottom for an entrance. You take a ladder up to a door and open the door to enter the trunk. Once inside you climb stairs into the mushroom. There is a loft with beds and a ladder to the roof for a roof patio. In the trunk there is a small animal pen for the building owner to keep some sheep or something.
