Another Stone and Wood house

It seems that there is an abundance of these style homes. Like no one knows how to build with any other materials. But fir the sake of argument, what fun would it be to build it out of Diamond blocks, and just mine it when you need some diamond? Some materials like clay, leak when it rains. Some materials like Wool or Coal can catch on fire. Cobblestone and Woods seem easiest to collect in survival mode. So, here is a look at another house I built. I did find a similar design on Pinterest, but I did not follow that photo well.

The Front of the house looks pretty simple here. I did not add any yard decorations such as grass, trees, and such until afterward (not shown). This particular build is narrow so the inside is considered a small home although the outside is misleading.

The back of the house is odd looking, especially up at the top. Windows can be added there, as well as a main level rear exit (if desired).

On the interior, I made a nice large fireplace. I made sure to build brick down into the floor with no wood above or below to cause any fires. I have burnt down an entire mansion before. Because this house is narrow, and then the second mini level is weirdly offset, I built a staircase right in the way on the left side of the house. Yes, right in front of a window. Unless you stack blocks directly where the staircase is, a ladder would not be any more helpful.
Lastly, the mini second story is very narrow, complete with large staircase opening. Plenty of room for chests, a bed, chairs, a tv, chandelier, brewing area, etc.
