To make this small "L" Birch Loft house in creative mode, follow the steps below. Add your own decorative touches to make it homey. You can also add a basement or roof lookout if desired.
This small house takes approximately 15 minutes to complete if you have built before.

To begin, start with flat land. Mine down one brick to lay all the stone bricks for the flooring. Add the birch fence posts for the garden area. 6 posts across the front, and 5 posts down the side. The stone brick flooring has four columns of 13 rows for the long part, and adding on 6 columns of 7 rows for the short part. The grassy area is 6x6.
For the base walls:
Add all 3 sides of building's base walls. Start on the left side leaving row one empty (front entrance). On rear wall fill in completely. On right wall fill in all leaving another empty row (row 7) for the garden wall. Stack all of those walls 7 birch planks high.
On the front exterior:
Add your hallway wall in the fourth column, leaving row 1 empty. This wall is stacked 4 birch planks tall filling in rows 2-7.
On the front exterior:
To make the entry add 3 birch wood blocks in column 1, row 1, followed identically by the same in column 4, row 1. Add 2 more birch wood blocks in columns 2 and 3 at the 3rd level to make the door frame. Next add a row of 10 birch planks on the 4th level. add 2 birch fence posts to the corner to "support" the roof.
On the front exterior:
Add 2 birch doors. On levels 5, 6, and 7, add a birch wood block to the corners.
On the exterior:
Add the 3 birch wood blocks to the corner. Add a row of birch planks across the top on the 4th level connecting to your hallway wall. This completes placing the birch wood blocks.
In the interior:
Add the rest of the birch planks to complete the floor of the loft/garden roof.
In the interior:
Add the rest of the birch planks to complete the wall enclosing the building the rest of the way.
To add the roof:
Add birch planks across the entire top.
Add birch steps around the perimeter creating a tiered look.
On the front:
Add 2 horizontal windows containing 8 panes right below the roof. (16 panes total)
On the exterior right side, in the garden:
Add one horizontal four paned window from the corner, outward leaving a row above and a row below.
On the exterior left side of the building:
Add the windows as follows:
Three sets of 4 paned windows horizontally, located 2 blocks from the front edge, leaving a row below, between, and above. Then add two sets of 5 paned windows vertically, located with 2 columns between the first set. One column between these panes with a brick row above and below.
On the interior back wall:
Add two windows horizontally, each with 3 glass paned windows leaving 1 brick in the middle and 1 brick at the end.
On the interior right wall:
Add two windows vertically, each with 3 glass paned windows, leaving 2 bricks above, and 2 bricks below.
On the loft:
Add two beds, five oak fence posts, 2 torches on the first and last post, and a couple more torches above the beds.
To the loft wall:
Add a double chest, four ladder pieces, a birch door, and three furnaces.
To finish off the interior:
Add a double chest, a table (oak fence post with a wooden pressure plate on top) with brick step chairs, and a crafting table. Don't forget to add a lot of lighting!
